Established in 2015, the MAC Al-Furqan School Toronto is a full-time Hifz school that – along with the Ontario curriculum – teaches students to memorize the Quran, as well as Arabic and Islamic studies. With 6 levels, highly qualified teachers, and volunteers, Al-Furqan School aims at teaching its students the Arabic letters, proper pronunciation, and the vowels (…accents) of the Arabic language. Students will memorize several chapters from the holy Quran in order to practice the learned material; and there by become equipped with the tools to enable them to memorize the whole Quran.
Bendale, also called Cedarbrae, is located in the former suburb of Scarborough. A majority of the houses were constructed in the 1950s and ‘60s and are positioned on generous size lots with private drives and garages or car-ports.
