About St. Joan of Arc High School

Since its inception in 2001, St. Joan of Arc High School has been recognized as a leader in Catholic education in our school board and the province. Our core academic programs are diverse and varied, and our elective courses include many Specialist High Skill Majors, co operative education, computer and technology offerings, a broad spectrum of arts courses and many electives. Our co-curricular program, including athletics, clubs, student council, mentorship and arts, gives students opportunities to grow and flourish, aided by a committed and highly qualified staff. Finally, we are recognized as a provincial leader in exploring and supporting our global community since 2009 as exhibited by the establishment of our Mission trips to Africa, South America and India in partnership with "Me to We."

St. Joan of Arc High School is located in Ardagh

The Ardagh neighbourhood is in central-west Barrie. This residential area is named for the Ardagh Bluffs natural area that it sits in, an area of woods with more than 17 kilometres of trails and over 518 acres. Much of the Ardagh Bluffs is environmentally protected. The neighbourhood has mainly detached single homes, with some townhomes, and some multi-unit housing, and there are also schools and additional parks.
