At Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School, we spend an abundance of time thinking about the ways children learn and grow, and this understanding shapes everything we do — in the classroom, on our playing fields and in the community. Kingsway South, also known as The Kingsway, is an affluent residential neighbourhood, with homes characterized by large stone mansions of English style. The neighbourhood is predominantly residential with a mixed-use (commercial and residential) area along Bloor and Dundas Streets. The majority of the housing stock is single-family detached homes. A rail line runs through the north-west quadrant of the neighbourhood. Parkland lines the banks of the Humber River and Mimico Creek. The neighbourhood also contains the area known as Lambton Hills, a former village located to the west of the Humber River.
